Events

BNP-ISBA endorses an array of meetings and events around the world.

BNP-ISBA organises the biennial International Conference on Bayesian Nonparametrics, sessions at other meetings (e.g. the ISBA World Meeting), and endorses events, small meetings and workshops.

We also run the BNP networking workshops. This series of smaller, flexible workshops is designed to (a) create an informal BNP event characterised by a flexible schedule and slots dedicated to early career researchers, (b) establish and strengthen local networks and broaden appeal, and (c) foster brainstorming and innovation. The first edition was held in Cyprus (April 2022).

The call for proposals for future editions of the biennial International Conference on Bayesian Nonparametrics usually opens every two years. See the proposal template for what a bid should contain, including the budget spreadsheet. All future editions are expected to adhere to the clauses for the biennial International Conference. Proposals for the BNP networking workshop series are open year-round, with an official announcement made every two years. These workshops are also expected to adhere to the clauses for the BNP networking workshops.

Endorsed meetings. BNP-ISBA supports and endorses other meetings, sessions and workshops to encourage activity in Bayesian nonparametrics. To request endorsement, please submit a single PDF file to bnp.isba.section@gmail.com containing information on the event: title, dates, location, website (if available), description, and BNP-ISBA representation (any involvement of BNP-ISBA members).
